I washed this garment, as it did get stained from sitting on a dirty bench. it washed nicely in cool water on gentle cycle. I did hang dry the skort after washing and it’s a bit wrinkled but still lovely. It’s a great value and I plan to purchase another in a different color.

My weight hasn’t changed, but many clothing items I’ve purchased or reviewed through Vine have been smaller than expected – so I went to a retailer and bought two brands I buy often, in my size (XXL).This skort was ordered in 3XL.It runs smaller than the name brand shorts and jeans I JUST bought in 2XL. Shrinkflation isn’t just for your groceries, folks. Order a sizes bigger than your normal size in these.As a skort, they’re very comfortable, the shorts have elastic at the bottom that help keep them in place, and that is about 4″ above my knee. The skirt portion falls roughly an inch below that, so 3″ above the knee. I wear a 27″ inseam, so I’m thinking that if you’re tall, they’re not going to be very knee length for you, either.The coverage is better than a 7″ pair of shorts that are the current trend, but I just measured a 7″ inseam on the shortsMeasuring from the hip, the skort is 18.2″, so yeah, I think shrinkflation is definitely going on – this was listed as a 19″ knee length skort.The pockets are shallow, but zipped. I have to slouch down to get my hands into them, they don’t’ fall where my arms naturally would go. Granted, I’m short, but I have not had that type of experience with shorts before.There’s also a zipped pocket in the small of the back that is easy to reach, zip, and unzip with either hand. I’d suggest using that for a phone, as the front pockets don’t seem big enough to hold a phone.The overall fit is a little stretch and there is definite give in the fabric. It is machine washable, which is a feature that will put this into the rotation this summer. I usually carry a purse, so the pockets that make me look like a neanderthal when I try to access them won’t really be an issue.Just remember that they’re comfortable, and that’s important – but SIZE UP if you buy these.

I really like this skort! At 5’4@200# it falls just at my knee. The sizing was spot on and nothing digs in or itches. The fabric is a really great material that should hold up over time. The black color is true to black. The pockets have zippers!!! This skort has a total of five pockets! One on each side of the shorts, which I think are suppose to be for tennis balls but any ball pockets I’ve had have always been upside down which these are not. Then there is a zippered pocket on each side of the skirt part at the hips, and a zippered pocket at the small of your back. The shorts are breathable mesh and have a tacky kind of material along the bottom so they don’t ride up. This skort is really quality made and worth the price!

Great all around skirt…not a cheap thin fabric
I love athletic skirts. I have so many brands and colors and wear them at least 5 times a week as my outfit since they are so comfortable and they can be casual or dressed up. I have size small and medium in them and the mediums are usually a little lose on me but my hips hold it where it belongs. This skirt is much smaller than the typical medium. It fits snug like a small fits me but yet it’s a medium. If I had known I would have ordered the large so it could fit me in the relaxed way that the mediums always fit on me. So I would definitely suggest to order a size up from your normal. It hit just above my knee if I wear it as a lower riding skirt but if I wear it as it should be it is about 3” above my knee and I’m 5’3” so just to give you prospective when you are ordering. The fabric is very well made. It is thick so you actually feel like you are wearing a skirt and you can feel confident that it will hide any lines or bumps since the denser fabric tends to blend better and the shorts underneath also give it another layer. The shorts fit me so well I didn’t even feel them on underneath the skirt. They have a stretch band at the bottom edges to keep it in place and it does a great job at that. I got the white color and I am very happy I did. It’s a striking clean look and it cleans super well due to the fabric content. I love the stretch and flexibility. It moves with you. There is no holding you down. I totally recommend this sport skirt but remember to size up as it isn’t true to size.
