High-Viz, Rough Running.
In my ongoing quest to be as visible as possible on my early morning runs, I am always looking for light & breathable, comfortable clothing that will give me the best chance to avoid becoming road pizza. Thinking these might fit the bill, I took a chance.Here’s the good & the bad as I see it.The good-These are very visible & light weight.Short of being glow-in-the dark, these hi-viz yellow & orange hoodies are as good it gets. The material does check the box for being light weight. Comfort is another thing. More on that later.Lovin’ the hood.I used the hood as a secondary layer of protection against a cold morning winter wind & it worked as it should. My head & neck stayed warm. No complaints there.Great price point.I believe these were 3 for around $25. That’s a great price & would’ve sealed the deal had the other issues not appeared. This is where part 2 of this review starts.The bad-The material.The description says these shirts are 100% polyester. Holy mackerel! They are uncomfortable! The shirts have a roughness that puts you in the mind of 1000 grit sandpaper. Everything (& I mean everything) gets a good rubbing. The 10 chest hairs I had were rubbed off after just one 10k.That’s not to say these wouldn’t be good for the construction worker or the guy who loves to stand out in the crowd, but they would be the source significant chaffing & bleeding on the chest area if you intend to used them to run as I did.The Sizing.I really wish we could conveine The UN or whatever political body decides on world clothing sizes. I ordered the 2XL thinking they would surely be large enough. WRONG!I’m guessing these are “Chinese Sizing”. Based on these & other experiences buying shirts online, I gather it means the shirts are much smaller in the chest & under the arms. I really hate that. Couple the sizing with the material, I just couldn’t see a future with me & these hoodies.I want to reenterate, there is nothing wrong with these hoodies if you are not planning to use them for running. They simply didn’t work for my purposes.That said, I’ll continue my search for visibility in a world of early morning runners & these hoodies will go back. Sorry, gang.

Great find!
I got these shirts to wear on a boating excursion in Saint Lucia! The shirts are super comfortable and provide great protection against the sun. If you wear it with a hat, the hoodie part stays on better (gives it something to hold onto). One of the kids swam in their shirt and it dried off pretty quickly on the boat. These are a great addition to your fun in the sun!

Fit Me Just Fine, although…
… a lot of shirts of this type run considerably oversized these days, but these do not. True to size in my eyes.You’re looking at less than 10 bucks a shirt, and for that I would say these are very nice, lightweight, warm weather shirts that offer a good degree of UV protection for outdoor activities and are nice enough looking for everyday casual wear. For me, very comfortable and affordably priced shirts.For what it is, what it does, and what it costs: Five StarsI am the Totally Unbiased Reviewer Dude (T.U.R.D.) and that is how I see it.

Great shirt! Breathable fabric, nice fit, although a bit tight in the neck front when the hood is hanging down in the back.I typically wear men’s L or XL and am big-chested. I went L on this one, and other than the neck the fit is a good, close fit throughout. If I order again I’ll get the XL.
