Heavier shorts can sometimes be more constricting but these are not at all – I felt like I moved easily.The waist band has plenty of give although the drawstring does not – so you can adjust it as needed. I actually found the setting it came with was fine for me.The pockets are a bit small but the zipper is a nice feature – great for a credit card, cash, car key, etc.I wear 34×34 pants and the large size was fine.Personally I liked the color selection. I’m not a very showy person but extra color does bring visibility when running on roads.
