Update: my daughters wear these all the time. However these tops stained way to easily. I was expecting it but I was hoping, washing the top right after it getting I think chocolate milk or soda on it, that it’d wash out but not at all it stained right away. So, I lowered my review from 5 to 4 stars.I could NOT find a dress for my 9 year old and my 10 year old HATES dresses. I tried to find a set elsewhere and everything is crop tops and booty shorts. Crop tops and booty shorts for children…. what a disgusting world this is becoming. I was lacking in hope.Then I saw these. I wasn’t sure about the sizing so I went with the closest to match their size. My 10 yr old is tiny. She’s too big for an 8 but 10 is too big. My 9 yr old is a 10 in bottoms and upwards to a 12 in tops. She literally in between. For my 10 yr old I bought the suggested size 8-9yrs and my 9 yr old 10-11. Both fit perfectly. And the shorts are just about knee length and the top covers their bottom. Very spring summer vibes but very modest too. And my girls absolutely LOVE their outfits. The material is about typical of all other clothing. I think my girls will probably wear these out before they grow out of them. Not because it’s cheap but because they are cute, stretchy, and yet slightly loose but not enough to be of concern.For reference my older daughter is about 4’6-4’7 and 52 lbs and my younger is 4’7-4’8 and 60+ lbs.
