How to choose a prom dress
Order early. Delivery takes 6-12 working days, and a long dress may need taking up. Ordering a month before the prom leaves time for an exchange and a visit to a tailor.
Length and shoes. A floor-length dress should be hemmed with the shoes you will wear on the night. Try the dress on with them before anything is altered.
Fit. Choose the size that fits the widest part of you, usually the bust or the hips. A fitted bodice can be taken in; it can rarely be let out.
Movement. You will be dancing. Check that you can sit, lift your arms and walk up stairs in the dress before the day.
